Who we are

Konsera makes Kontrast, an app for learning radiology. A second app, Dyvara, for the ward, is coming later. Both are written by Aynora and share one Konsera account. This page covers Kontrast and the kontrastrad.com website.

Your Konsera account

You give your name and email, and choose a password. You confirm your email before you start.
Your password never leaves your device. The app turns it into a login code, and the server stores only a scrambled version of that code.
Your saved data is encrypted before it is stored on our server, which runs on Cloudflare. We keep a protected copy of the key so you can reset a forgotten password by email without losing your data. That key is used only to restore your access, never to read or share your data.
The administrator can see the name and email on each account, when it was made, the day it was last used, and which invite code it used (if any). It can't see what you've saved.
A Cloudflare Turnstile check helps stop automated sign-ups.
If you turn on fingerprint or Face ID, your phone does the check; Konsera never sees it.
Emails (confirming your address and resetting your password) are sent by Resend, from servers in Tokyo, Japan. Resend receives only your email address and the message.

The website

Visits to kontrastrad.com are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
During the private preview, entering an access code (or signing in to Kontrast) sets one small cookie so the site remembers that you have access. It holds no personal details.

Kontrast

What's kept: saved items, recently opened entries, Daily 5 progress, decode summaries (the last 10), and settings. All of it is encrypted on your device before it is synced, so we can't read it.
Decode runs on your device. Reports you paste are never sent. Decode removes the patient details it finds, but it can miss some, so remove names, dates of birth, and record numbers first.
Ask for it: only the word you ask for is sent, with nothing else attached.
Report a mistake: the entry, what you write, and your account email are sent, so the report can be checked and followed up.
Daily feature counts are linked to your account, for example how many entries were opened. They never include what you read or search for.

Terms

Education only

Kontrast is for learning radiology. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a clinical record, and it doesn't replace the report, the reporting radiologist, the treating team, or local protocols and policies. Clinical decisions remain yours and your team's.

Intellectual property

You may use Kontrast and read its content for your own learning, and share links to any page.
Without written permission you may not copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute the content, use it to build a competing product, reverse-engineer the app, or use the Konsera or Kontrast names or logos.

No warranty

Kontrast is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Aynora is not liable for any loss arising from its use.
